Responsible learner
Throughout my high school career I have contimually shown that I am a responsible learner. I have always gotten decent grades. While in class I would pay close attention to what I was being taught by taking nothes and listening intently. I also kept my planner up to date with homework assignments and due dates of projects and essays. This helped me to stay on course and not lose focus on what i needed to accomplish by getting distracted from things like the computer or television. I have always done my best to complete all my assignments and turn them in on the date that they were due. When I knew I was going to have a test I studied for it the day before to keep the material fresh in my memory. For instance when I was going to have a history test I would study the lessons we went over throughtout the week in the text books. I also studied for math tests because I knew they would be difficult and as a responsible learner I wanted to get good grades on my assessments. During class time it is very easy to get sidetracked by all the commotions and disruptions by other students but I have always concentrated on what the teacher was discussing and instructing so that I would know and understand the task that would be assigned to me. All of this has helped me to do well in school and on tests, get good grades, remember what i have learned and most important it has all helped me to become a responsible learner.
